Our Team At Workplace

 Our Team and responsibilities

Currently I am employed in a retail company where I and my teammates mainly deal with electronics and our main focus is customer satisfaction and fulfill needs of our customers by providing good service. In order to understand our clients' needs, respond to their inquiries about our goods, and suggest the best solutions, we work directly with them. Along with this, we also work to address consumer concerns and guarantee the highest level of client pleasure.

As a sales associate, we focus on the wants and needs of the client. We perform trainings so that we can have in-depth understanding of our products in order to cope with issues. We can also think swiftly to come up with original answers to problems. Another important action that we frequently perform while working and concluding the agreement with our customers is using the register. Merchandising and stocking are other two tasks that we mainly perform at workplace and this includes proper display of products and maintaining the inventory. As a team we try to achieve our monthly sale goals that are usually assigned to us, mostly we outperform and hit more than the target assigned.

Precise measures to boost motivation --

Physiological

According to Maslow's hierarchy of requirements, a worker's most fundamental wants must be satisfied before he will be motivated by higher demands. The hierarchy's foundation are physiological requirements like food and water. Our company  address our working team physiological demands by allowing for meal and snack breaks and paying a good wage rate that works good for us. The company can increase the pay rate and provide some commission on selling of products. This will motivate us a lot and every co worker will try to sell with more enthusiasm. This will also impact the companies revenue a lot.

Provide positive reinforcement

Rewarding group members for their contributions is a good strategy to keep them motivated. Little incentives, like praises or expressions of gratitude, can go a long way towards inspiring people to keep working hard and striving to achieve the team's goals. A culture where employees feel encouraged and valued is created by regularly celebrating professional successes and team goals. We are usually given gift cards of Tim Hortons from our manager when me meet our monthly goals and I think that this should be done frequently.

Provide recognition

Recognizing employees' contributions to the success of their teams and the organization as a whole helps to understand how much their employers value them. This is especially important as organizations expand or undergo change. Employees are encouraged to keep up the excellent work since it makes them feel secure in their contribution to the organization. At our workplace every individual is appreciated when they go beyond to fulfill needs of customer. Some titles should be assigned such as star of the month or shining employee so that whenever a individual see that, he must feel motivated.

Establish tough yet realistic objectives

Members will be more inspired to push themselves and work hard to attain the goal if it is made demanding and realistic, let members feel that the goal is reachable. Establishing concrete objectives for oneself or each of one's sales representatives fosters responsibility and accountability. We can establish these objectives on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.

Safety

Whenever we are working at our workplace safety is the most important factor, as if we will safer at our workplace then we can give our best without any fear. Sometimes various types of situation arises at the workplace where we can feel danger such as theft. At our workplace we are simply told that let if some kind of situation arises, we are allowed to directly go in the backrooms. Managers should backup their employees when they feel unsafe.

Positive and motivating environment

Our workplace attitude and tone are inspiring. Workplace can soon become toxic if even one negative individual regularly complains and denigrates others. Naturally, when employees are in a great, supportive environment, they are much more motivated to come to work and work hard, therefore try to create one.

I believe the team will be able to increase individual motivation and more successfully attain its goals by putting these strategies into practice. Based on current theories of motivation, the techniques mentioned above will assist foster an environment where team members will feel motivated and inspired to succeed. I firmly believe that by establishing reasonable yet challenging goals, giving praise and recognition, providing positive reinforcement, encouraging a collaborative environment, providing feedback, and making it enjoyable, we can enhance motivation among group members and support the success of our team.
